- It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Even though we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in Vietnam , the management and staff got into the holiday spirit by preparing the studio for Christmas. That involved throwing away the old worn out tree and ornaments , shopping at the Christmas shop district, decorating the tree, hanging the ornaments and wrapping boxes. It was fun watching the staff pick names out of the hat for the Secret Santa Gift. Hopefully everyone doesn't get bored with the holiday music playing around the clock!! Or with the IT Dept singing along with the carols at full blast!
- Glenda does Gamescom Asia
Last week Glenda Studio attended the Gamescom Asia 2022 conference in the amazing city of Singapore. It was our first conference and we didn't know what to expect. Needless to say it was an unforgettable experience. A special thank you to all the wonderful people we met and made us feel welcome. It was so nice to actually be able to mingle and socialize again post Covid, I'm sure no one will take these things for granted again. We were able to meet both talented colleagues in our art industry as well as hopefully future clients from all over Asia. We feel we have made good friends and partners in the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and of course our home country, Vietnam. We received some wonderful guidance, saw lots of amazing artwork, played some fun games, learnt about other upcoming events, met incredible and fun people and left the event feeling inspired, motivated and looking forward to a successful year ahead. Hopefully next year someone will tell us about the after parties!!! We stayed near the fun and vibrate Haji Lane in the Arabian Quarter, ate some delicious dishes from Mexico, Turkey and India and visited the Historic Sultan Mosque. Our whirlwind visit ended up with a quick tour of the Marina Bay Sands complex and the lovely Gardens On The Bay. Our trip finally ended with sore feet and a juicy burger and shake at Shake Shack in the incredible Jewel at Changi Airport. Singapore... we already miss you and our new friends! See you next year... Keep in Touch!
