in the ETH library

Dated around 1923, this precision this precision land surveying instrument consists of a telescopic sight that rotates both horizontally and vertically, and associated graduated circles on which the angle of rotation is read. Inscribed Heinrich Wild Heerbrugg No.353.

This piece shows lots of use on the base, where wear and tear from the lid being removed caused lots of scratching. the glass also showed fading due to dust and moisture entering the lens, and the leather strap was cracking. All these details captured impeccably by the 3D prop artists at Glenda Studio.
